Martha Ann Caruso

Martha Ann Caruso, 67, of Lock Haven, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2026, at UPMC Williamsport Hospital.

Born March 22, 1958, in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late George F. Lamey and Yvonne J. Conklin Lamey Stover.

Martha was employed as a nurse’s aide at Susque-View Home, Lock Haven, retiring after 43 years of service.

As a member of Big Woods Bible Church, Lock Haven, Martha’s faith and understanding in the Lord grew with her. She was a true believer and deeply valued her relationship and guidance of Jesus Christ.

Martha enjoyed traveling, including her family vacations to the beach and her annual trips to her sister’s house on Lake Hauto. Her greatest attribute was her willingness to care for and help others, especially her family, whom she adored her time with.

Martha was married to Kurt Caruso, who were blessed with three children, Joe (Karli) Caruso, of Collierville, Tenn., Angela (Richard) Rogers, of Lock Haven, and Michele Caruso, of Jersey Shore. She is also survived by four sisters, Emma (David) Wallace, of Castanea, Barbara (Brad) Derby, of Delaware, Judy Wise, of Lock Haven, and Sally (Todd) Becker, of South Carolina; eight grandchildren, Joey, Jacob, Adalyn, Kaidyn, Akerya (Joey), Aaliyah, Colbie and Saralena; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2026, at 3 p.m., at Big Woods Bible Church, 241 S. Hanna St., Lock Haven, with Pastor Tim Boger officiating.

Friends and family will be received at the church on Sunday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.

Private burial will take place at Highland Cemetery, Lock Haven, Pa.
