Richard I. Baughman

Richard I. Baughman, 93, of Stone Ridge Lane, Mill Hall, Pa., passed away Jan. 25, 2026, at the Gatehouse Hospice in Williamsport.

Richard was born in Lock Haven, on Oct. 26, 1932, to the late Floyd and Mable Cooney Baughman.

In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his first wife, Beryl Baney; his second wife, Betty Hoy; and a step-son, Leo Vuocolo.

Richard was a graduate of Lock Haven High School and had served in the U.S. Navy. He had worked most of his life at the former Hammermill Paper Company, where he worked and retired from the maintenance department. He had been a member of the Beech Creek Legion and the Citizen’s Fire Company in Lock Haven.

Survivors include a daughter, Kimberly D. Toner, of Lock Haven; a step-daughter, Deanna VanGorder, of Castanea; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his companion, Sandy Warner, of Lock Haven.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Gedon Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, LLC, 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven, Pa.
