Ronald A. Rudy, Sr.

Ronald A. Rudy, Sr., 86, of Lock Haven Pa, passed away on Jan. 29, 2026, in Williamsport Pa.

Ronald was born in Salona to parents Albert and Madeline (Boone) Rudy on May 13, 1939. He went to Lock Haven High School and graduated in June, 1957. He went on to join the Air Force for four years, where he spent three years in Germany. He worked for PennDOT for 26 years as an inspector for concrete highways. Ronald enjoyed hunting in his younger years and had a deep appreciation for home movie preservation.

Ronald is survived by his son, Ronald A. Rudy, Jr.; brother, Lawrence Rudy; sister, Judy Spangler; niece, Traci Masden; and granddaughter, Janna Rudy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Deanna Rudy, his brother, Richard Rudy and grandson Brennen Rudy.

A gathering of friends and family will be held at Rest Haven Memorial Park, 47 Rest Haven Drive, Lock Haven Pa., 17745 on Monday, Feb. 2, 2026 at 11 a.m., with military service by the Jersey Shore Honor Guard to follow. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Gedon Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, LLC. 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven, Pa. 17745.
