Douglas W. Huling

Douglas W. Huling, 64, of Jersey Shore, passed away Thursday, Jan. 29, 2026.

Born July 22, 1961, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late James W. Huling and the former Mary L. Lehman.

Doug worked as a truck driver for Walmart for over 20 years and also dedicated his time to local Veteran Associations, especially transporting wreaths for Wreaths Across America.

He is survived by his daughter, Melissa Ann Boatman, of Jersey Shore; a son, Benjamin J. Huling, also of Jersey Shore; a granddaughter; brothers, Marvin R. (Brenda) Huling, of Jersey Shore, Steven F. Huling, of Lock Haven, and Michael J. (Jodi) Huling, also of Jersey Shore; and his companion, Michele A. Eck.

A visitation will be held from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026, at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore, followed by a Memorial Service at 1 p.m. at Welker Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest at a later date in the Oval Cemetery.
