KUSHWARA — Rose Marie Kushwara, 84, of Bellefonte, died Jan. 31, 2026. A funeral mass will be held today at 10 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 134 E. Bishop St., Bellefonte. Burial services will immediately follow at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery.

CARSON — Dale A. Carson, 69, of Lock Haven, died Jan. 29, 2026. Family and friends are invited to a public viewing on Friday, Feb. 6, from 3-4 p.m., at Rearick Carpenter Funeral Home, 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore. Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. Interment will be at St. John’s Cemetery at the family’s convenience.

CRAMER — Gerald M. Cramer, 73, of Bellefonte, died Feb. 2, 2026. A public viewing will be held on Friday, Feb. 6, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 206 N. Spring St., Bellefonte. Funeral and burial services will be held privately at the family’s convenience.

HULING — Douglas W. Huling, 64, of Jersey Shore, died Jan. 29, 2026. A visitation will be held from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 7, at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. A memorial service will follow, beginning at 1 p.m., at the funeral home. Interment will be at a later date in the Oval Cemetery, Oval, Pa.

SELFE — Richard Dale “Rick” Selfe, Jr. died Jan. 12, 2026. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 7, at 11 a.m., at Gedon Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, LLC, 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven. Family and friends will be received in the funeral home one hour prior to the services.

MARTIN — Alvin Ronald “Ron” Martin, 77, of Mifflinburg, died Jan. 29, 2026. Services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 7, at 11 a.m., at Harvest Bible Church. A viewing will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Mazeppa Union Cemetery.

JONES — Mary Katherine Flynn Jones, 103, died Jan. 27, 2026. The funeral will be held on Saturday, Feb. 7, at 11 a.m., at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 120 W. Lamb St., Bellefonte. A Celebration of her Life will be held on March 21, beginning at 1:30 p.m., at Titan Hollow, 2042 Axemann Road, Bellefonte.

PECCHIA — Samuel L. “Sam” Pecchia, 91, of Nippenose Valley, died Jan. 31, 2026. A visitation will be held on Monday, Feb. 9, from 8:30-9:30 a.m., at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Feb. 9, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 5973 Jacks Hollow Road, Williamsport, Pa. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

BROOKS — Martha J. (Forster) Brooks, 96, of Jersey Shore, died Jan. 27, 2026. A viewing will be held on Monday, Feb. 9, from 10:30-11:30 a.m., at Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore. The funeral service will follow, beginning at 11:30 a.m., at the funeral home.

MILLER — Rita A. Miller, 81, died Jan. 22, 2026. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Rita’s life at a viewing at the Gedon Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, LLC, 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven, Pa., on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026. The family will welcome visitors between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

MEEKINS — Ronald H. “Ron” Meekins, 89, died Dec. 27, 2025. A memorial service will be held at noon on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the Salladasburg United Methodist Church, with visitation from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

McCUNE — Paul O. McCune, 98, of Wellsboro, and formerly of Mill Hall, Pa., died Jan. 22, 2026. A memorial graveside service will be held on June 3, 2026, at 1 p.m., at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mill Hall, Pa.

BIERLY — Walter S. Bierly, 85, of Jersey Shore, died Dec. 28, 2025. A Celebration of Life is being planned and will be announced at a later date.

KWIATEK — Pete T. Kwiatek, 74, of Green Valley, Ariz., died Dec. 19, 2025. A Celebration of Life will be held in Green Valley, Ariz., at a later date.

SMITH — Rebecca Jane “Becky” (Strouse) Smith, 79, died Jan. 30, 2026. A Life Celebration will be announced in the spring.
