Our angel on Earth, Lois V. Conrad (George), 87, of Avis, earned her Heavenly wings on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2026.

If you ever met Lois, you know she adored and loved her husband, Robert (Bob) J. Conrad, with whom she celebrated 66 years of marriage on Jan. 9.

A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 12, at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 13 at Welker Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest in the Jersey Shore Cemetery.
