SCOTT HEIMER
Scott L. Heimer, 74, passed away at home on Feb. 21, 2026, after a year-long struggle hoping to get back to better health.
He was born April 13, 1951, in Lock Haven, Pa., as he would say, on “Friday the 13!” He was “larger than life” and enjoyed football and wrestling for Bald Eagle Nittany HS.
In his early years he worked for his parents, Dean R. Heimer and Barbara Ruth McCaleb Heimer at Heimer Trailer Sales. In later years, he mostly worked for Conrail and Norfolk Southern Railroads.
Being outdoors brought Scott such great joy — whether riding his Harley, hunting or going to camp to target shoot. Vacations on his Harley with good friends or with his wife of 55 years, Joanne Wolfe Heimer, were always a treat.
Along with his parents, Scott was predeceased by his sister, Nydean “Beth” Irvin.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne; two children, Shana Heimer (Tom Duran), of McElhattan, Pa., and Colton Heimer (Kate Vaccaro), of Wayne, Pa.; and a granddaughter, Margo Millie Heimer.
He is also survived by his sister, Cynthia Karichner (Denny Grenninger); a special uncle, Craig Heimer; and several cousins, nieces and three special nephews, Colby, Adam and Brandon Irvin.
A Celebration of Life is planned for 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 8, at the Beech Creek-Blanchard Fire Co. Social Hall, 38 Locust St., Beech Creek, Pa. This Celebration is BYOB.
A donation in Scott’s name can be made to the Clinton County SPCA, 33 Mill Hill Road, Lock Haven, PA 17745.
Arrangements are under the direction of Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington.
