Charles C. Colucci

Charles C. Colucci

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Charles C. Colucci, 84, of Castanea, Pa., on March 2, 2026, at his residence.

He was born to John and Josephine (Renzo) Colucci on July 15, 1941. He was one of 12 children.

On July 12, 1969, he married the love of his life, Helen (Soo) Colucci, who survives at home after sharing 56 years of marriage together.

He had a deep love for hunting, fishing, camping with his wife and hunting for arrowheads. In his earlier years he loved to bowl with his lifelong friends who passed before him. He had a love for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Philadelphia Eagles and the Penn State Nittany Lions. He always loved to watch a good football game and old westerns. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was an attendee of the Lock Haven Catholic School and later began a 30-year career with Emery Chemical Company, retiring in 2000.

In addition to his wife, Helen, he is survived by his daughters, Tina (Herb) Probst, of Lock Haven, and Charlene Colucci Schilling, of Vero Beach, Fla.; and his sons, Paul (Tracie) Spong, of Lock Haven, and Richard Spong, Jr., of Lake Charles, La.

He was a proud Grandfather to 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren whom he held dear.

He will be deeply missed, and his spirit will remain with us.

Charlie leaves behind a lifetime of memories that his loved ones will cherish forever.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.

Funeral services and burial will be privately held at the convenience of the family.

Helt Funeral Chapel in Mill Hall is honored to serve the family.
