Fronie I. (Mesmer) Wagner
Fronie I. (Mesmer) Wagner, 98, of Mill Hall, passed away on March 26, 2026 at Haven Place Rehabilitation and Senior Living in Lock Haven.
Fronie was born on Jan. 27, 1928 in Loganton to the late Elmer C. and Lulu (Snook) Mesmer.
On July 24, 1948 she married Charles C. Wagner and they spent 59 years together until his passing on May 1, 2007.
In her earlier years after graduation from the former Sugar Valley High School in 1946, she went to work at Sylvania in Mill Hall and worked there until the plant closed. She later went to work for Keystone Central, retiring in 1990. Fronie was a member of the Mill Hall Church of Christ, and was an active member of the ladies group.
Fronie is survived by one son, Charles D. Wagner of Harrisburg and two grandsons, Tyler (Caitlyn) Wagner of North Bend; and Trey (Megan) Wagner of Lock Haven. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a special niece, Tammy Mesmer, of Montoursville.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Daisy Confer and a brother, Elwood Mesmer.
A Graveside Funeral Service for Fronie I. Wagner will take place on Monday, April 6, at 11:00 a.m. at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Loganton with Fronie’s Pastor, James Redmon Officiating.
