David W. Simcox

David W. Simcox, 58, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by friends and family, on Thursday, April 23, 2026, after a very short battle with cancer.

David was born on June 29, 1967, to Margaret Simcox and the late Francis Simcox. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 27 years, Danyelle Simcox, and his brother, Carl Simcox.

He is survived by his daughters, Samantha (Stacey) Seese, of North Bend, and Porcha Simcox, of Pittsburgh. He is also survived by his mother, Margaret Simcox, of North Bend, and his siblings, Robert Simcox, also of North Bend, and Gina Simcox, of Carlisle. In addition, David leaves behind many nieces and nephews, who will cherish his memory.

David was an avid outdoorsman, who found joy in fishing and hunting. He had a natural talent for fixing things, whether working on his home or repairing vehicles. He also had a well-known love for coffee and rarely started his day without a fresh cup in hand.

He will be remembered for his hardworking nature, his love for the outdoors and the simple joys that brought him comfort each day.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services at this time. The family will gather to celebrate David’s life later this year, sharing stories and remembering him in their own way.

Maxwell Funeral Home, Renovo, is honored to serve the family.
