MONKS — Elzner Claire Monks, 83, of Jersey Shore, Pa., died Jan. 30, 2026. Elzner loved a good party, and the family will be having a Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 25, from 12-4 p.m., at the Moose in Jersey Shore. In his honor, the family will be having Karaoke.

ECKMAN — Andrew L. “Andy” Eckman, 66, of Jersey Shore, died April 15, 2026. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 25, at 2 p.m., at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, Pa. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.

STROUSE — Millie Strouse, 74, of Monument, died Feb. 16, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 26, at the Friendship Community Center, 127 Main St., Beech Creek. All family and friends are welcome.

WELSHANS — Gertrude M. “Trudy” Welshans, 100, of Jersey Shore, died March 11, 2026.

Services are being planned and will be announced once completed.

HERRITT — Jacqueline L. Herritt, 63, of Lock Haven, died March 14, 2026. A Celebration of Life service is being planned and will be announced at a later date.

COVEY — Tracy J. Covey, 63, of Williamsport, died March 20, 2026. A memorial service is being planned and will be announced at a later date.

KLOBE — Charles L. Klobe, Jr., 94, of Beech Creek and Mill Hall, died March 21, 2026. A Celebration of Life service is being planned and will be announced at a later date.

SCHARDER — Carl “Neil” Scharder, 83, of Lock Haven, died March 6, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Scharder Farm in Caldwell on May 16, from 1-5 p.m. Please share a story and a beverage with the family. The dress code is casual.

SHAFFER — Donald L. Shaffer, 81, of Howard, died March 9, 2026. 4135 Jacksonville Road, Howard. A Celebration of Life service is being planned for Sunday, May 31, at Emmanuel United Church of Christ, 4135 Jacksonville Road, Howard. The time will be announced later.

McCUNE — Paul O. McCune, 98, of Wellsboro, and formerly of Mill Hall, Pa., died Jan. 22, 2026. A memorial graveside service will be held on June 3, 2026, at 1 p.m., at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mill Hall, Pa.
