BRUMBAUGH — Vera L. Brumbaugh, 88, of Howard, died April 15, 2026. Family and friends are invited to a gathering on Friday, April 24, from 10 a.m. until noon, in the fellowship room of Howard United Methodist Church, West Main St., Howard, Pa. A light lunch will be shared during the gathering, and all are welcome to come, visit and share memories of Vera. The funeral service will follow, beginning at noon, Burial will be immediately afterward at Schenck’s Cemetery in Howard Township, Centre County, Pa.

MONKS — Elzner Claire Monks, 83, of Jersey Shore, Pa., died Jan. 30, 2026. The Celebration of Life that had been planned for Saturday, April 25, at the Moose in Jersey Shore is being postponed until the fall.

ECKMAN — Andrew L. “Andy” Eckman, 66, of Jersey Shore, died April 15, 2026. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 25, at 2 p.m., at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, Pa. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.

STROUSE — Millie Strouse, 74, of Monument, died Feb. 16, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 26, at the Friendship Community Center, 127 Main St., Beech Creek. All family and friends are welcome.

MITCHELL — Donna M. Mitchell, 88, of Lock Haven, died April 17, 2026. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 27, at 11 a.m., at Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, Pa. Interment will follow at St. Agnes Cemetery, Lock Haven, Pa. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

SCHARDER — Carl “Neil” Scharder, 83, of Lock Haven, died March 6, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Scharder Farm in Caldwell on May 16, from 1-5 p.m. Please share a story and a beverage with the family. The dress code is casual.

BOWMAN — Catherine M. “Kate” Bowman, 68, of Mill Hall, died April 19, 2026. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16, from 1-3 p.m., at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington.
