MONKS -- Elzner Claire Monks, 83, of Jersey Shore, Pa., died Jan. 30, 2026. The Celebration of Life that had been planned for today, April 25, at the Moose in Jersey Shore is being postponed until the fall.
ECKMAN -- Andrew L. "Andy" Eckman, 66, of Jersey Shore, died April 15, 2026. A memorial service will be held this afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, Pa. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.
STROUSE -- Millie Strouse, 74, of Monument, died Feb. 16, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 26, from 3 to 5 p.m., at the Friendship Community Center, 127 Main St., Beech Creek. All family and friends are welcome.
MITCHELL -- Donna M. Mitchell, 88, of Lock Haven, died April 17, 2026. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 27, at 11 a.m., at Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, Pa. Interment will follow at St. Agnes Cemetery, Lock Haven, Pa. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
SCHARDER -- Carl "Neil" Scharder, 83, of Lock Haven, died March 6, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Scharder Farm in Caldwell on May 16, from 1-5 p.m. Please share a story and a beverage with the family. The dress code is casual.
BOWMAN -- Catherine M. "Kate" Bowman, 68, of Mill Hall, died April 19, 2026. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16, from 1-3 p.m., at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington.
WELSHANS -- Gertrude M. "Trudy" Welshans, 100, of Jersey Shore, died March 11, 2026.
Services are being planned and will be announced once completed.
COVEY -- Tracy J. Covey, 63, of Williamsport, died March 20, 2026. A memorial service is being planned and will be announced at a later date.
