Patricia Ann Corbett-Hamel

Patricia Ann Corbett-Hamel, 65, of Pleasant Gap, passed away at her home on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.

Born on Sept. 30, 1960, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Shirley (Weaver) Ilgen.

She was married to her beloved husband, Mike Hamel, who survives at home.

In addition to her husband, Mike, Patti is survived by her children, Alexis (Patrick Corbett, III), of Boalsburg, and Daniel Corbett, of Spring Mills; and her brothers, Marvin Ilgen, of Howard, and Dennis Ilgen, of State College. Patti is also survived by her fur babies, Velcro, BiBiMack and MiniMack.

Patti loved going camping in her new camper with Mike, spending time with her children, luncheons with her many friends and keeping up to date with current events with her fur babies.

A public viewing will be held on Monday, April 13, 2026, from 5-7 p.m., at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 135 W. Main St., Howard. Funeral services will begin at 7 p.m., at the funeral home, with Pastor Ron Miller officiating.

Burial services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
