Robert L. “Bob” Miller, 77, of DuBois, formerly of Howard, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026, at Penn Highlands in DuBois.

Born on Sept. 14, 1948, in Lock Haven, he was the son of the late May (Miller) Lucas.

Bob was a 1966 graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School.

He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps until he was honorably discharged. Upon returning home, he worked at Bell Telephone for 32 years until he retired as a manager.

He is survived by his sister, Ruby Kitner (William), of Howard, and many nieces and nephews.

Bob enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and camping. He also enjoyed gardening and puzzles in his free time.

A public graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 1 p.m., at Highland Cemetery, 129 Highland Drive, Howard.

Arrangements are under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Howard.
