Ruby J. Prebble, 88, of North Bend, passed away on April 11, 2026, at Bucktail Medical Center in South Renovo.
Ruby was born May 24, 1937, in Renovo, a daughter of the late Philip E. Hevner, Sr. and Maude V. (Crossley) Hevner.
She was a 1955 graduate of St. Joseph's School in Renovo. On Aug. 25, 1956, she married the love of her life, Donald S. Prebble who preceded her in death on Jan. 31, 2004.
In her early years, Ruby enjoyed riding motorcycles with Don and enjoyed playing Bridge. Her pride and joy were her great-grandsons and spending time with family.
She was a devoted member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Renovo. She was a member of the CDA, a CCD teacher, Eucharistic Minister, choir member, Altar Rosary Society, attended daily mass and worked at the church festivals.
Surviving Ruby is her son Michael Prebble, of North Bend; her daughter Lori and son-in-law Ben Moser, of North Bend; a grandson, Justin Moser, of North Bend; a granddaughter, Heidi (Moser) Ross, of Williamsport; two great-grandsons, Dalton and Francis Ross, of North Bend; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Ann; three brothers, Philip Hevner, Jr., Richard D. Hevner and Lewis P. (Joe) Hevner.
A Memorial Mass will be announced at a later date.
