Sarah ‘Sally’ Bechdel

Sarah “Sally” Bechdel, 76, of Mill Hall, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2026, at home, surrounded by her family.

She was born on June 3, 1949, in Jersey Shore, to Wesley and Thelma Koch.

Sally lived a life defined by kindness and humor, and was deeply devoted to family and friends.

She enjoyed dancing, camping and cooking. She took pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming home.

She is survived by her husband, Jack B. Bechdel; her sons, Bobby (Beth) Cowfer and Eric (Dawn) Cowfer; five step-children; several grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
