Donald L. ‘Donnie’ Rauch

Donald L. “Donnie” Rauch, 76, husband of Frieda C. (Kaercher) Rauch, of East Winter Rd., Loganton, Pa., passed away at home on Wednesday, April 29, 2026.

Born in Jersey Shore, Pa., on April 24, 1950, he was the son of the late Lee M. and Ruth (Stewart) Rauch.

Frieda and Donnie were wed on June 5, 1970, and shared over 55 years of marriage together.

He was a 1968 graduate of Jersey Shore High School.

Donnie was employed by Glenn O. Hawbaker for over 42 years before retiring in 2008.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his step-mother, Mavis (Welshans) Rauch, of Jersey Shore; a sister, Deborah Lee Rauch Meixel (Danny); two brothers, Gary F. Rauch and Denny Rauch (Lori), all of Jersey Shore; a brother-in-law, John Kaercher, of Loganton; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Barry Rauch.

Donnie was an avid hunter and had achieved harvesting Pennsylvania’s three big game species in a single licensing year, “The Triple Trophy,” a whitetail buck, a black bear and a spring gobbler turkey.

In keeping with Donnie’s wishes, private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

The family has entrusted Donnie’s final arrangements to the Wayne P. Urbine Funeral Home Inc., 95 E. Main St., Loganton, Pa.
