HELLER — Leonard F. Heller, Jr., 97, of Williamsport, died April 22, 2026. A memorial service honoring Leonard’s life will be held today at 2 p.m. at Bethel Linden Presbyterian Church, 2758 Bottle Run Road, Williamsport. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the start of service.

ALTERS — Helen (Taylor) Alters, 83, of Bellefonte, died April 26, 2026. A public viewing will be held this evening from 6-8 p.m. at Faith United Methodist Church, 512 Hughes St., Bellefonte. An additional viewing will be held on Saturday, May 2, from 10-11 a.m., at the church, followed by the funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will immediately follow at Union Cemetery, Bellefonte, Pa.

SCHARDER — Carl “Neil” Scharder, 83, of Lock Haven, died March 6, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Scharder Farm in Caldwell on May 16, from 1-5 p.m. Please share a story and a beverage with the family. The dress code is casual.

BOWMAN — Catherine M. “Kate” Bowman, 68, of Mill Hall, died April 19, 2026. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16, from 1-3 p.m., at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington.

CAMPBELL — Patricia L. (Stewart) Campbell, 68, of Renovo, died April 19, 2026. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the 7th Street United Methodist Church, 127 7th St., Renovo, with Martha Sykes officiating. Friends and relatives will be received at the church one-hour prior to the service. Interment will be private at North Bend Cemetery.

WELSHANS — Gertrude M. “Trudy” Welshans, 100, of Jersey Shore, died March 11, 2026.

Services are being planned and will be announced once completed.

COVEY — Tracy J. Covey, 63, of Williamsport, died March 20, 2026. A memorial service is being planned and will be announced at a later date.
