CALHOUN -- John W. Calhoun, Jr., 86, of Lock Haven, died April 30, 2026. A funeral service will be held today at 2 p.m. at Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington. Interment with military honors will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery, Mill Hall, Pa. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home from noon until the time of service.
CUMMINGS -- Janet Lee Cummings, 90, of Avis, died April 28, 2026. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 8, from 10 a.m. until noon, at Crossroads Church, 1454 PA-44, Jersey Shore, Pa. A funeral service will follow, beginning at noon, at the church. Janet will be laid to rest in the Jersey Shore Cemetery.
MARASCO -- Eleanor Lee (Shope) Marasco, 83, of Blanchard, died May 2, 2026. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 8, at 2 p.m., at Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington. Interment will follow at Schenck's Cemetery in Howard, Pa. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from noon until the time of the service.
SCHARDER -- Carl "Neil" Scharder, 83, of Lock Haven, died March 6, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Scharder Farm in Caldwell on May 16, from 1-5 p.m. Please share a story and a beverage with the family. The dress code is casual.
BOWMAN -- Catherine M. "Kate" Bowman, 68, of Mill Hall, died April 19, 2026. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16, from 1-3 p.m., at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington.
CAMPBELL -- Patricia L. (Stewart) Campbell, 68, of Renovo, died April 19, 2026. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the 7th Street United Methodist Church, 127 7th St., Renovo, with Martha Sykes officiating. Friends and relatives will be received at the church one-hour prior to the service. Interment will be private at North Bend Cemetery.
GARLIN -- Robert E. Garlin, 81, of Lock Haven, Pa., died April 27, 2026. A memorial service for Robert E. Garlin will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at the Dillsburg Brethren in Christ Church, 18 E. Harrisburg St., Dillsburg Pa. Family and friends will be received at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
WELSHANS -- Gertrude M. "Trudy" Welshans, 100, of Jersey Shore, died March 11, 2026.

COVEY -- Tracy J. Covey, 63, of Williamsport, died March 20, 2026. A memorial service is being planned and will be announced at a later date.
SHAFFER -- Donald L. Shaffer, 81, of Howard, died March 9, 2026. 4135 Jacksonville Road, Howard. A Celebration of Life service is being planned for Sunday, May 31, at Emmanuel United Church of Christ, 4135 Jacksonville Road, Howard. The time will be announced later.
McCUNE -- Paul O. McCune, 98, of Wellsboro, and formerly of Mill Hall, Pa., died Jan. 22, 2026. A memorial graveside service will be held on June 3, 2026, at 1 p.m., at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mill Hall, Pa.
TARR -- Alice Tarr, aka Alice Hurley, Alice Davenport, Alice Shaffer or Alice of Young Woman's Creek, 85, of North Bend, died March 17, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held at North Bend Cemetery on Saturday, June 13, beginning at 1 p.m.
HAHN -- James F. Hahn, 84, of Pine Glen, died March 22, 2026. A Celebration of Jim's Life will be held on June 13, at 2 p.m., at the Snow Shoe VFW.
JORDAN -- Samuel F. Jordan, Jr., 59, of Jersey Shore, died April 27, 2026. A memorial gathering honoring Sam will be held on Friday, June 12, at 2 p.m., at the Sugar Valley Community Fire Hall, 24 Anthony St., Loganton, Pa.
DAKE -- Paula R. Dake, 58, of Williamsport, died April 11, 2026. A Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date.
HARTER -- Ralph "Butch" Harter, Jr., 80, of Bellefonte, died April 15, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
BECHDEL -- Sarah "Sally" Bechdel, 76, of Mill Hall, died April 25, 2026. A Celebration of Life is being planned and will be announced at a later date.
MONKS -- Elzner Claire Monks, 83, of Jersey Shore, Pa., died Jan. 30, 2026. The Celebration of Life is being postponed until the fall.
