CUMMINGS — Janet Lee Cummings, 90, of Avis, died April 28, 2026. A visitation will be held today from 10 a.m. until noon, at Crossroads Church, 1454 PA-44, Jersey Shore, Pa. A funeral service will follow, beginning at noon, at the church. Janet will be laid to rest in the Jersey Shore Cemetery.

SAXON — Sharon A. (Nuie) Saxon, 71, of Mill Hall, died May 5, 2026. Funeral services will be held today at 11 a.m. in the Gedon Funeral Homes & Cremations Services, LLC, 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven. Family and friends will be received from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be private at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven, Pa.

MARASCO — Eleanor Lee (Shope) Marasco, 83, of Blanchard, died May 2, 2026. A funeral service will be held this afternoon at 2 p.m. at Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington. Interment will follow at Schenck’s Cemetery in Howard, Pa. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home from noon until the time of the service.

HELT — Patricia Bernice Gibson Helt, 94, of West Cape May, N.J., died May 3, 2026. Family and friends are invited to a visitation at St. Luke’s United Church of Christ, 1175 S. Fourth St., Lock Haven, on Saturday, May 9, from 10-11 a.m., followed by a funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. at the church. Interment will be at Highlands Cemetery, Lock Haven, Pa.

SCHARDER — Carl “Neil” Scharder, 83, of Lock Haven, died March 6, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Scharder Farm in Caldwell on May 16, from 1-5 p.m. Please share a story and a beverage with the family. The dress code is casual.

BOWMAN — Catherine M. “Kate” Bowman, 68, of Mill Hall, died April 19, 2026. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16, from 1-3 p.m., at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington.

CAMPBELL — Patricia L. (Stewart) Campbell, 68, of Renovo, died April 19, 2026. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the 7th Street United Methodist Church, 127 7th St., Renovo, with Martha Sykes officiating. Friends and relatives will be received at the church one-hour prior to the service. Interment will be private at North Bend Cemetery.

GARLIN — Robert E. Garlin, 81, of Lock Haven, Pa., died April 27, 2026. A memorial service for Robert E. Garlin will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at the Dillsburg Brethren in Christ Church, 18 E. Harrisburg St., Dillsburg Pa. Family and friends will be received at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

KYLE — Sandra E. Kyle, 79, of Jersey Shore, died May 4, 2026. A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 30, at 11 a.m., at Crossroads Church, 1454 PA 44, Jersey Shore, followed by a memorial service beginning at 12:30 p.m. at the church. She will be laid to rest at a later date beside her husband in the Jersey Shore Cemetery.

WELSHANS — Gertrude M. “Trudy” Welshans, 100, of Jersey Shore, died March 11, 2026.

Services are being planned and will be announced once completed.

COVEY — Tracy J. Covey, 63, of Williamsport, died March 20, 2026. A memorial service is being planned and will be announced at a later date.

SHAFFER — Donald L. Shaffer, 81, of Howard, died March 9, 2026. 4135 Jacksonville Road, Howard. A Celebration of Life service is being planned for Sunday, May 31, at Emmanuel United Church of Christ, 4135 Jacksonville Road, Howard. The time will be announced later.
