LYNCH — James Frederick “Jim” Lynch, Jr., 79, of Howard, died May 12, 2026. A viewing will be held this evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home in Milesburg. Private military services and interment will take place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pa.

BACHMAN — Alan J. Bachman, 82, of Beech Creek, died May 14, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held today at 11 a.m. at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

AURAND — William Franklin Aurand, 93, of Beech Creek, died May 17, 2026. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 21, at 10 a.m., at the Beech Creek Wesleyan Church, 217 Main St., Beech Creek, Pa. Private interment will follow at the Blanchard Baptist Cemetery, Blanchard, Pa.

ZIMMERMAN — William E. Zimmerman, Jr., 65, of Lock Haven, died May 17, 2026. Family and friends will be received at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, on Thursday, May 21, from 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 22, at 11 a.m., at the funeral home.

BOOB — Cathy M. (Matter) Boob, 72, of Spring City, Tenn., and formerly of Lock Haven, died May 14, 2026. A graveside service will be held at Tylersville Community Cemetery, Tylersville, Pa., on Friday, May 22, at 11 a.m.

PREBBLE — Ruby J. Prebble, 88, of North Bend, died April 11, 2026. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 23, at 1 p.m., at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 925 Huron Ave., Renovo.

HARRIOTT — La’Shaun Harriott, 10, of Lock Haven, died Dec. 25, 2025, in a car accident near Howard, Pa. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 23, at 11 a.m., at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton St., State College, Pa.

GAVLOCK — Aline Proctor Gavlock, 97, of Renovo, died May 6, 2026. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, May 24, at 1 p.m., at New Maple Grove Cemetery on Kettle Creek, 191 Maple Grove Road, Renovo, Pa. A reception will follow at the Cross Fork Fire Hall.

KYLE — Sandra E. Kyle, 79, of Jersey Shore, died May 4, 2026. A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 30, at 11 a.m., at Crossroads Church, 1454 PA 44, Jersey Shore, followed by a memorial service beginning at 12:30 p.m. at the church. She will be laid to rest at a later date beside her husband in the Jersey Shore Cemetery.

O’LAUGHLIN — Joan Green Mills O’Laughlin died April 24, 2926. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 30, at 11 a.m., at the Grace Baptist Church, North Bend, Pa. A luncheon will follow at the Chapman Township fire hall.

SHAFFER — Donald L. Shaffer, 81, of Howard, died March 9, 2026. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, May 31, from 3-5 p.m., at Emmanuel United Church of Christ, 4135 Jacksonville Road, Howard, Pa. He was laid to rest in the Jacksonville Cemetery, Jacksonville, Pa.
