Luke J. Toner

Luke J. Toner, a 20-month-old baby boy, passed away at home on Sunday, May 3, 2026. He was born Aug. 15, 2024, to parents Adam C. Toner and Kayla Courter.

Luke was known for his big, infectious smile that could brighten anyone’s worst day and always being happy. He loved the cartoon “Bluey,” chasing chickens and anything related to farming, especially cows. He loved his “moo’s,” as he would say.

Luke was an amazing little boy who touched many people’s hearts across the country and will truly be missed by all that knew him and followed his journey. Thank you for all the love and support.

In addition to his parents, Luke is survived by two brothers, Gavin (Vicki) Toner and Austin Toner, of Mill Hall; two sisters, Madison and Taryn Toner, of Mill Hall; paternal grandparents, Robert and Dawn Toner, of Mill Hall; maternal grandparents, George and Fay Courter, of Mill Hall; paternal great-grandmother, Judith Kramer, of Mackeyville; maternal great-grandparents, Blair and Elaine Courter, of Mill Hall, and Henry and Carol Jordan, of Unityville; two nephews, Kamdyn and Dawson Toner, of Mill Hall, along with four uncles and many cousins.

Funeral services for Luke J. Toner will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Cedar Heights Brethren in Christ Church, 37 Cedar Heights, Mill Hall, PA 17751, with Pastor Scott Garman officiating. Family and friends will be received in the church from 10 a.m. until time of services.

Memorial donations in Luke’s name may be made to the Geisinger Janet Weis Children’s Hospital, 100 N. Academy Ave., Danville, PA 17822.
