Dianna L. (Bardo) Miller

Dianna L. (Bardo) Miller, 78, a former resident of Lock Haven, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Edenbrook South in Williamsport.

Born Jan. 2, 1948, in Lock Haven, she was a daughter of the late Franklin R. Bardo, Sr. and Betty Jane (Bower) Bardo. Dianna was the first baby girl born in 1948 at Lock Haven Hospital.

Dianna was married in 1970 to Kenneth “Pete” Miller who died in 2008. They celebrated 38 years of marriage together.

She worked for Lock Haven University in food services. Earlier she worked at Brown’s Boot Shop and Brickley’s Ice Cream.

Dianna enjoyed Bingo, visiting friends, puzzles and staying at home. She was a 1965 graduate of Lock Haven High School.

Surviving is a daughter, Kelly Slaterbeck, of Lock Haven; a granddaughter, Logan Slaterbeck; and a great-grandson, Braxon Levi Confer.

She is also survived by five brothers, Robert Bardo, Sr., David L. Bardo, Thomas Bardo and John Bardo, all of Lock Haven, and Franklin Bardo, Jr., of Blanchard.

Dianna was preceded in death by a son, Michael; and a brother, William.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall, with Pastor Bill Hargenrader officiating.

Friends and relatives will be received one hour prior to the service.
