Chase Michael Hollobaugh
Chase Michael Hollobaugh
Chase Michael Hollobaugh, born Sept. 8, 2004, met Jesus on Thursday, July 9, 2026 after a courageously and well fought battle with cancer.
Chase’s passion was anything on wheels. He loved riding bike with his best buddies at the bike parks. He also loved fishing and hunting.
He was kind-hearted, loving and caring, but also loved to joke around and laugh.
Chase loved to be the big brother for his sister, Chloe, and brother, Hayze.
He was always more mature than his age. He loved spending time with family and friends as well as his dog, Arya. Chase received his biggest goal in life and found his sweetheart, Hayleigh Hooven, along with her loving and caring family.
With Chase putting his faith in the blood of Jesus, he is without a doubt riding with the Big Man, taking notes, and will be waiting for us to get there so he can show us all best things heaven has to offer.
He leaves behind his parents, Travis (Heather) Hollobaugh, of Loganton, and Jamie Jabco Hollobaugh (Nate Gingery), of Mill Hall, and siblings, Chloe Hollobaugh and Hayze Gingery. Also surviving are his Pap, Alan Hollobaugh; Gram, Karen; and Pap, Don Mansfield, and Pap, Charles Dickey; Great Gram, Patsy Hollobaugh; great-paps, Dean Schmidt, Terry (Ruth) Breon and Larry Dickey; Uncle Jim and Aunt Lindsey Rogers (and their children, Maddy and Jackson), Uncle Chuckie Dickey and Uncles Zach and Bryce Mansfield; numerous great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins; and his dog, Arya.
He also leaves behind his sweetheart, Hayleigh Hooven, and her mother, Ashley Miles; sister, Hannah Hooven, and her boyfriend, Kalan Simcox, who just happened to be Chase’s best bud.
Chase was preceded in death by his Gram Pam Dickey, Pap Paul and Gram Mary Butler; great-grams, Mary Schmidt and Beverly Dickey; and great-pap, William Hollobaugh.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at 11 a.m. at Crossroads Community Church, 1454 Rt. 44, Jersey Shore. Interment will be at Tylersville Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received at the church on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
Memorial contributions in Chase’s name may be made to either Make-a-Wish Foundation or Think Big Foundation, c/o Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745. Online condolences may be given by visiting www.donaldwalkerfuneralhome.com
