BECHDEL -- Roberta L. "Bertie" (Bottorf) Bechdel, 91, of Beech Creek, died July 18, 2026. Family and friends will be received this evening, from 5-7 p.m., followed by a brief family-led prayer beginning at 7 p.m., at the Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 135 W. Main St., Howard (formerly Kader-Neff Funeral Home). Burial will be at the family's convenience.
STRINGFELLOW -- Jonathan Wayne "Chubby" Stringfellow, 28, of Lock Haven, died July 19, 2026. Family and friends will be received for a time of viewing this evening from 6-9 p.m. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington.
ABER -- Amelia D. Aber, 76, of South Renovo, died June 28, 2026. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 25, at 11 a.m., at the Christian Community Church, 364 Susquehanna Ave., Renovo, Pa.
SPEARING -- Thomas R. "Tom" Spearing, 80, of 34 Evergreen Estates, Jersey Shore, died June 20, 2026. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 25, at 1 p.m., in the Walnut Street Baptist Church, 201 W. Highland St., Avis, Pa. Private interment will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pa.
LACHAT -- James M. Lachat, Sr., 91, of Williamsport, died July 16, 2026. A graveside service to honor his life will be held on Monday, July 27, at 368 Gillens Road, Mill Hall, Pa.
BITNER -- Donna L. Bitner, 89, of Blanchard, died July 15, 2026. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 31, at 5 p.m., at Beech Creek Wesleyan Church, 217 Main St., Beech Creek.
McCAULEY -- Elisabeth (Grand) McCauley, 91, of Cincinnati, Ohio, died May 20, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held in Cincinnati on Sept. 5, 2026.
WEAVER -- Doris L. "Dode" Weaver, 64, of Lock Haven, died May 14, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held in the fall.
