Harper Adrianna Lorson

HARPER LORSON

March 13, 2013 --July 13, 2026

Harper Adrianna Lorson, 13, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2026, in her home, wrapped in the love of her family and closest friends.

From her very first breath, Harper showed the world the depth of her courage. Born prematurely, she spent her first 275 days of life fighting in the NICU and PICU. She possessed a vivacious will to live and a strength that was entirely unmatched. Throughout her journey, Harper endured a life of surgeries and hospital stays with an exquisite grace -- yet, those medical challenges never defined her.

Instead, Harper defined her own life through joy and boundaryless love. From the moment she was born, she never went a single day without a smile. She had an infectious, joyful spirit; she was wonderfully silly, and laughter was her natural language.

Harper loved adventure, cherished being surrounded by the people who loved her and lived every single day to the absolute fullest.

She is survived by her deeply loving parents, Tara and Nick Lorson; and her beloved brother, Jaxon Hartman-Lorson. She also leaves behind a devoted circle of grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, dear friends and the thousands of followers who have loved her from afar, all of whom will carry her laughter and her fierce, beautiful spirit in their hearts forever.

"She whispered to the wind, 'I am not afraid.' And the world whispered back, 'We know.'"

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 16, from 3-7 p.m., at Welker Funeral Home, Jersey Shore.

A Mass and funeral service will be held on Friday, July 17, at 10:30 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Bastress, Pa.

A luncheon will follow the service.
