Melvin R. Minnich, 82, of Mill Hall, Pa., passed away at home on July 21, 2026.
He was born in Pine Grove, Pa., to the late Roy and Ethel (Witters) Minnich, on Sept. 16, 1943.
Melvin worked as a herdsman at Millarden Farms in Annville, Pa., and Beyer's Foods as a warehouse supervisor and delivery truck driver before retiring from Rite Aid Pharmacies as a truck driver.
He loved wildlife, nature, hunting and his pets -- especially his cats.
Melvin is survived by his wife, Mary Minnich; a son, Dave R. Minnich; a daughter, Bethann (Barry) Sell; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Shirley Minnich, in Lebanon, Pa.; and a sister-in-law, Ruth Minnich.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Alfred Minnich; and his sister, Betty Minnich Weiland.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Gedon Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, LLC., 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven, Pa.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
