Wayne L. Martz, Jr.

Wayne L. Martz, Jr., 51, of Beech Creek, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2026 at Haven Place, Lock Haven.

He was born on April 9, 1975 in Lock Haven and was a 1996 graduate of Lock Haven High School.

Wayne attended the Blanchard Church of Christ.

He enjoyed NASCAR races, tractors and cows. Wayne was an avid sports fan, cheering on the Steelers and Penn State. He loved tractor trailers, especially Kenworth trucks, and cherished the times he got to ride along with his Dad in the truck.

Wayne was a social butterfly and especially close to his family. He will be forever loved by all who met him.

Surviving are his mother, Danette Confer, of Beech Creek; dad, Gregg Irvin, of Beech Creek; brothers, Joe Martz and Larry (Tyana) Confer, both of Beech Creek, and Zac Confer, of Flemington; nieces and nephews Ashton, Wrenly and Delilah Confer; grandmother, Kathleen Swanson, of Florida; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 11 a.m. at the Blanchard Church of Christ, 161 Beach St., Blanchard, with Dr. Rev. Russell Moldovan officiating.

Wayne’s family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Haven Place for not only their wonderful care but also their friendship.
