Barbara A. Bastian, 90, of Jersey Shore, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2026, at Edenbrook North Skilled Nursing Home in Williamsport.
Born on June 6, 1936, she was the daughter of the late James E. and Fannie M. (McClintic) Donovan.
On Dec. 20, 2015, she married Charles K. Bastian, who survives.
Barbara was a 1954 graduate of Lock Haven High School. Following graduation, she worked as a secretary for Paul Mack Insurance Agency and Piper Aircraft. She then went to work for Torsell Agency and retired in 1998.
She was a member of St. Agnes Holy Spirit Parish Church and had been a member of Women of the Moose in Lock Haven. Barbara loved dancing, singing and tending flowers.
Barbara is survived by four stepdaughters, Stacy (Damon) Duffield, Crystal (Walt) Kutza, Julie (Rob) Fisher and Jody (Rodney) Lorson; four stepsons, John (Cathy) Andrus, Jr., Stanley Andrus, Roderick Andrus and James (Cindy) Getgen; and numerous grandchildren and step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, John F. McKinley; her second husband, John Andrus; and a stepson, Richard Bastian.
Funeral services for Barbara A. Bastian will be held in Gedon Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, LLC, 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven, on Monday, Aug. 10, 2026, at 1 p.m., with Deacon Chuck Williams officiating.
Family and friends will be received in the funeral home one hour prior to services.
Burial will take place at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven, Pa.
