Nicholas Zolak, 60, of Lock Haven, Pa., passed away Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2026, at his home.
Born May 26, 1966, in Monessen, Pa., he was the son of the late John Zolak, Jr. and Mary Ann Miralles Zolak.
Nick obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business from California University of PA.
He was employed at Lock Haven University as the General Manager of their Dining Services Department for 13 years.
Nick was an avid and passionate fan of Pittsburgh sports teams especially the Steelers. He enjoyed socializing with his friends, especially golfing and boating on the Susquehanna River. Nick always looked forward to his road trips to visit family in Ohio and loved binge watching Netflix series with them.
In addition to his parents, Nick was preceded in death by a brother, John J. Zolak.
A Celebration of Nick's Life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2026, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Haywood's on the Green, 2nd Floor Ballroom, 43 Fairway View Drive, Mill Hall, Pa.
The Rhome Funeral Home, 1209 Grand Blvd., Monessen, Pa., will be accepting friends on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., with a burial at Grand View Cemetery directly following.
A luncheon at Saint Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church, 117 St. Spyridon Lane, Monessen, Pa., will follow.
A funeral service will occur on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2026, directly following Divine Liturgy at St. John the Divine Orthodox Church, 48 McKee Avenue, Monessen, Pa.
