Christina M. (Serafini) Bickel, 87, of Paoli, died Sunday, Aug. 30, 2026, at Columbia Cottage Assisted Living, Harrisburg.
She was born on Dec. 7, 1938, in Renovo, and was the daughter of the late Henry and Frances (DeMart) Serafini.
Christina was married to the late Joseph E. Bickel for many years until his death on April 25, 2020.
She was a graduate of St. Joseph Catholic School, Renovo, and then moved to the Paoli area where she worked for Deluxe Printing Company for over 35 years before retiring in 1998.
Christina was a member of St. Norbert Parish, Paoli.
She loved to donate to the SPCA for animals in need and enjoyed her flower gardens, going out to eat, visiting the casinos, convertible cars, taking care of her home and spending time with her family. Christina also had a love for all of her pets over the years.
She is survived by a sister, JoAnne Welton, of Renovo; two nephews, Robert and Wayne Welton; and a niece, Kim Cameron.
In addition to her parents and husband, Christina was preceded in death by a brother, Henry Ross; and a nephew, Richard Welton.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2026, from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m., at Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth St., Renovo, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30 p.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 925 Huron Ave., Renovo, with The Reverend Joseph Orr officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Hyner, Pa.
