Donna K. Corl

Donna K. Corl, 79, of Howard, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2026, at Eagle Ridge Personal Care Home, Mill Hall.

Born July 26, 1947, in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late Ward and Celestine Litz Nyman.

Donna was a 1965 graduate of Lock Haven High School. That same year, she married the love of her life, Michael E. Corl, and together they shared 61 wonderful years of marriage.

Donna dedicated 32 years of her working career to Centre County Government, where she served as a Payroll and Pension Coordinator before retiring.

She was a faithful and active member of Marsh Creek Brethren in Christ Church. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she especially cherished the time she spent attending church camp in Roxbury.

A talented seamstress and crafter, Donna enjoyed sewing and making beautiful quilts, many of which she lovingly shared with her family and friends. She found great joy in creating things with her hands and giving those creations to the people she loved.

Above all else, Donna treasured her family. She took great pride in caring for her home and family, and she especially enjoyed cooking and spending time with those closest to her.

She was a devoted grandmother who never missed an opportunity to attend her grandchildren's sporting events and cheer them on.

In addition to her husband, Mike, Donna is survived by her two children, Lisa (Daren) Stover, of Beech Creek. and Jim (Crystal) Corl of Mill Hall; two sisters, Linda (late Lester) Watkins, of Marsh Creek, and Sandra (Terry) Peeler, of Beech Creek; six grandchildren, Jenna (Nick) Packech, Colten (Brooke) Stover, Toner (Carleigh) Corl, Asher (Megan Reese) Corl, Cru Stover and Jaysa Stover; and five great-grandchildren, Ryker and Grady Packech, Deagen and Brantleigh Stover and Ella Corl.

A memorial service honoring Donna's life will be held Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2026, at 5 p.m., at Marsh Creek Brethren in Christ Church, 417 Summit Hill Road, Howard, Pa., with Pastor Dan Longmore officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Donna's memory may be made to Marsh Creek Brethren in Christ Church.
