WINEBOLD -- Richard D. Winebold, 68, of Aaronsburg, died Aug. 27, 2026. Family and friends will be received today from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the Steven R. Neff Funeral Home in Millheim. The funeral service will follow, beginning at 11:30 a.m., with Pastor Teresa Hockenberry officiating. Interment will be in Salem Lutheran Cemetery, Aaronsburg, Pa.
SHADLE -- Nancy J. (Robinson) Shadle, 73, of Jersey Shore, died Aug. 19, 2026. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, Sept. 4, from 12-1:30 p.m., at Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore. A memorial service will begin at 1:30 p.m.
McCAULEY -- Elisabeth (Grand) McCauley, 91, of Cincinnati, Ohio, died May 20, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held in Cincinnati on Sept. 5, 2026.
YOUNG -- Brent S. Young, 54, of Lake Ariel, Pa., died Aug. 15, 2026. A memorial service to celebrate Brent's life will be held on Sunday, Sept. 6, at 1 p.m., at Pavilion #2 at Little Pine State Park, 4205 Little Pine Creek Road, Waterville, Pa.
ZOLAK -- Nicholas Zolak, 60, of Lock Haven, died Aug. 4, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, Sept. 6, from 5-7 p.m., at Haywood's on the Green, Second Floor Ballroom, 43 Fairway View Drive, Mill Hall. The Rhome Funeral Home, 1209 Grand Blvd., Monessen, Pa., will be accepting family and friends on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 10:30-11-30 a.m., with a burial at Grand View Cemetery directly following. A luncheon at St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church, 117 St. Spyridon Lane, Monessen, Pa. will follow. A funeral service will occur on Sunday, Sept. 27, directly following Divine Liturgy at St. John the Divine Orthodox Church, 48 McKee Ave., Monessen, Pa.
LEATHERS -- Dennis Lee "Denny" Leathers, 80, of Bellefonte, died Aug. 5, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 12, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Nittany Country Club in Mingoville. Attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite Bellefonte baseball apparel.
KELLERMAN -- Frederick T. "Fred" Kellerman, 77, of Milesburg, died Aug. 17, 2026. Visitation will be held on Saturday, Sept. 12, from 10 a.m. until noon, at Daughenbaugh Funeral Home in Milesburg, followed by a memorial service with Pastor Jerry Coakley officiating. A Lions Prayer Service, given by the Howard Area Lions Club, begins at 11:45 a.m. Military honors will be accorded following the memorial service.
SPRANKLE -- Marcellne Sprankle, died May 25, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026 at 2 p.m. at the Milesburg Historical Museum, 205 Market Street, Milesburg, PA 16853.
BROOKS -- Marjorie Brooks, of Howard, died July 17, 2026. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sept. 19, at 2 p.m., at Bald Eagle State Park, Pavilion 6. Pastor Dan Longmore of the Marsh Creek Brethren in Christ Church will officiate.

LONG -- Kelly Marie (Stout) Long died Aug. 9, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Sunset Memorial Church in Tamarack, Pa., on Saturday, Oct. 3, at 10 a.m. A tea party luncheon will follow. The immediate family will then take her ashes to the Valentine Cemetery that overlooks the Kettle Creek Valley.
WHITEHILL -- Ward F. Whitehill, 90, of Pleasant Gap, died July 20, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be announced later in the fall.
WELSHANS -- Gertrude M. "Trudy" Welshans, 100, of Jersey Shore, died March 11, 2026. Services are being planned and will be announced once completed.
MONKS -- Elzner Claire Monks, 83, of Jersey Shore, Pa., died Jan. 30, 2026. The Celebration of Life is being postponed until the fall.
