HARDY -- Patricia A. Hardy, 83, of Lamar, died Aug. 27, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held today at 5 p.m. in the Gedon Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, LLC, 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven. Family and friends will be received in the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
NYMAN -- David M. Nyman, 72, of Antes Fort, died Sept. 2, 2026. A visitation will be held today at 10 a.m. at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Jersey Shore Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the Jersey Shore Honor Guard.
HAINES -- Eileen "Leenie" Hue Haines died Sept. 3, 2026. A memorial service will be held today at 11 a.m. in the Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven, Pa. Family and friends will be received in the church one hour before the service. Private burial will be at the family's convenience.
LEATHERS -- Dennis Lee "Denny" Leathers, 80, of Bellefonte, died Aug. 5, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 12, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Nittany Country Club in Mingoville. Attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite Bellefonte baseball apparel.
KELLERMAN -- Frederick T. "Fred" Kellerman, 77, of Milesburg, died Aug. 17, 2026. Visitation will be held on Saturday, Sept. 12, from 10 a.m. until noon, at Daughenbaugh Funeral Home in Milesburg, followed by a memorial service with Pastor Jerry Coakley officiating. A Lions Prayer Service, given by the Howard Area Lions Club, will start at 11:45 a.m. Military honors will be accorded following the memorial service.
SPRANKLE -- Marcelline Sprankle died May 25, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 12, at 2 p.m., at the Milesburg Historical Museum, 205 Market St., Milesburg, Pa.
AUMAN -- Francis C. Auman, 80, formerly of Spring Mills, died Sept. 7, 2026. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, Sept. 12, from 10 a.m. until noon, at the Steven R. Neff Funeral Home in Millheim. The funeral service will follow, beginning at noon. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery West.
BROOKS -- Marjorie Brooks, of Howard, died July 17, 2026. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sept. 19, at 2 p.m., at Bald Eagle State Park, Pavilion 6. Pastor Dan Longmore of the Marsh Creek Brethren in Christ Church will officiate.

TREASTER -- Douglas A. Treaster, 58, of Centre Hall, died Aug. 17, 2026. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, Sept. 20, from 1-2 p.m., at Barbara Daughenbaugh Funeral Home in Centre Hall, followed by a Celebration of Life beginning at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Graveside services will follow at Reformed & Lutheran Cemetery in Centre Hall, Pa.
DOBERSTEIN -- Susan Jane (Hoberman) Doberstein, 78, of Lock Haven, died Aug. 29, 2026. Interment will take place at Beth Yehuda Cemetery, with an unveiling ceremony to coincide with the re-dedication of Hoberman Park.
LONG -- Kelly Marie (Stout) Long died Aug. 9, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Sunset Memorial Church in Tamarack, Pa., on Saturday, Oct. 3, at 10 a.m. A tea party luncheon will follow. The immediate family will then take her ashes to the Valentine Cemetery that overlooks the Kettle Creek Valley.
WHITEHILL -- Ward F. Whitehill, 90, of Pleasant Gap, died July 20, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be announced later in the fall.
WELSHANS -- Gertrude M. "Trudy" Welshans, 100, of Jersey Shore, died March 11, 2026. Services are being planned and will be announced once completed.
MONKS -- Elzner Claire Monks, 83, of Jersey Shore, Pa., died Jan. 30, 2026. The Celebration of Life is being postponed until the fall.
