Lane M. Dale, 60, of Lock Haven, passed away Friday, Sept. 4, 2026 at Gatehouse Hospice, Williamsport.
Born June 14, 1966 in Lock Haven, he was the son of Kenneth E. Dale, Jr. and Thelma Bowman Dale, of Flemington.
Lane was a 1984 graduate of Lock Haven High School before obtaining a degree from Williamsport Area Community College.
On Aug. 16, 1986 at the Flemington First Church of Christ, Lane married the former Andrea D. Peters and was proud to celebrate his 40th anniversary with her this past month.
Lane worked at PennDOT as an equipment operator, retiring on June 26 of this year, after 25 years of service.
He was a volunteer fireman and past Chief at Goodwill Hose, Flemington for 14 years.
He loved spending his leisure time outdoors especially hunting and fishing with his friends and family. He always looked forward to the trips to the many places he traveled to with his wife.
In addition to his parents, Ken and Thelma, and his wife, Andrea, he is survived by two children, Lyndsey M. (Scott) Fitt, of Lewis Run, and Kyle M. Dale, of Lock Haven; a brother, Kenneth E. (Beverly) Dale, III, of Flemington; and his two grandsons, Koa Fitt and Kyler Dale.
Friends and family will be received for a public viewing on Wednesday, Sept. 9 from 5 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, Sept. 10 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745. Lane's funeral service will be held private to family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to Gatehouse Hospice.
