Patricia A. Hardy

Patricia A. Hardy, 83, of Lamar, Pa., passed away on Aug. 27, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Pat was born Feb. 24, 1943, in Lock Haven, the daughter of the late Myron Hayes and Catherine White Simcox.

Pat attended Lock Haven High School, and had worked for Keystone Central School District and retired after 38 years of service.

She enjoyed her many flower gardens and loved her treasures found at local yard sales. Most of all, she cherished the time she had with her loving family.

She is survived by husband, Ronald Hardy, of Lamar; two sons, Kent (Leanne) Young, of Lock Haven, and Steve Young (Lisa), of York; a daughter, Beth Moore, of Mill Hall; two stepchildren, Troy (Trish) Hardy, of Virginia, and Nicole (Donnie) Guy, of Virginia; two nephews, Jeff Bitner (Kass), of Blanchard, and Jody Bitner (Shelly), also of Blanchard; a niece, Cassie Carson (Shawn), whom she shared a loving home with for 15 years; a sister, Hazel Fasano, of Massachusetts; eight grandchildren, Brandon Young (Ashley), Ashton Kohler, Derek Young (Katie), Dustin Young, Bradley Young, Joseph Young and Ryan Moore; and five great-grandchildren, Jaxon Young, Harper Young, Sophia Moore, Lucas Henry and Maddix Carson. She also leaves behind her faithful, 4-legged companion of 18 years, Bella.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Myron (Sonny) Simcox; a sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Dick Bitner; and in-laws, Theodore (Ted) and Loretta Hardy.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, Sept. 11, 2026, at 5 p.m., in the Gedon Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, LLC., 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven, Pa., with Pastor Susan Champion of the Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church officiating.

Friends and family will be received at the funeral home one hour prior to service.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Clinton County SPCA.
