Ruth E. Kling, 87, of Lock Haven, passed away on Friday, Sept. 25, 2026, at Haven Place in Lock Haven.
She was married to the late Ronald E. Kling, on June 27, 1959. They had shared 62 years as husband and wife until his passing on July 17, 2021.
Ruth was born on April 14, 1939, in Lock Haven and was a daughter of the late John T. and Sue (Confer) Frey.
She was a graduate from Lock Haven High School and a wonderful homemaker for her family. Ruth was a member of First Church of Christ in Lock Haven where she served as a deaconess.
Ruth is survived by a son, Michael S. Kling, of Austin, Texas; six grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Ronald, Ruth is preceded in death by a sister, Violet Allison.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were entrusted to Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, Jersey Shore.
