Clara ‘Jacque’ Jaqueline Gottshall

Clara "Jacque" Jaqueline Gottshall, 86, passed away on Oct. 12, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of love, cherished memories and countless hearts forever touched by her kindness.

Born Feb. 20, 1940, in Williamsport, Pa., she was the daughter of Russell W. Fuller and Bernece Brobst Fuller.

Jacque graduated from Jersey Shore High School and went on to attend Susquehanna University.

On Oct. 6, 1962, Jacque married the love of her life, Warren Gottshall, at First Baptist Church in Jersey Shore, Pa. Together, they shared 64 beautiful years of marriage, building a life rooted in love, faith and family.

In addition to her beloved husband, Warren, Jacque is survived by her sons, Colton and Curt Gottshall; her daughter-in-law, Katerina Gottshall; her cherished grandchildren, Cole, Clark and Chloe Gottshall, Cortney (Rocco) Zannella, Amber (Danny) Watkins, Amber Gottshall, Paul (Kim) Croak and Shena Myers (fiance, Dustin Calhoun); and her precious great-grandchildren, Jocelyn, Blake, Camren, Braelyn, Alexander, Malachi, Damien, Jack, Jesse and Breanna.

She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Craig Gottshall; her daughter-in-law, Kathy Gottshall; and her sister, Jill Snyder.

Faith was the foundation of Jacque's life. A devoted member of Caldwell United Methodist Church, she treasured her church family and the many friendships she formed throughout the years. She lovingly shared her musical talents by playing the piano and organ for Sunday services at Caldwell, Woolrich, McElhattan and Jersey Shore Baptist churches. Her music was a beautiful expression of her faith, and her dedication to serving the Lord and her church community was unwavering.

Jacque dedicated 46 years to Jersey Shore State Bank, where she found great joy in the people she met and the friendships she made along the way.

Her commitment to her community extended far beyond her career. She proudly served as the Township Secretary for Gallagher Township for over 20 years and was a member of the Haneyville Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. Through her many years of service, Jacque touched countless lives, always giving generously of her time and talents to the community she loved.

Above all else, Jacque will be remembered for the truly remarkable woman she was. She was endlessly giving, compassionate and thoughtful, always putting the needs of others before her own. She never hesitated to lend a helping hand, offer a kind word or brighten someone's day. Her happiness was contagious, her love was unconditional and her heart was truly one of a kind. Her beautiful smile could light up a room, and her warm, comforting hugs made everyone feel loved.

Jacque was truly a blessing to this world. A devoted wife, loving mother, treasured grandmother and great-grandmother and faithful servant of God, she leaves behind a legacy of kindness, faith and unconditional love.

Though she will be missed beyond measure, her family finds comfort in knowing that the love she gave so freely will live on for generations to come.

The music she played may have fallen silent, but the love and joy she brought into this world will echo in our hearts for eternity.
