Dan W. Reeder, 50, of Williamsport, died Monday, Oct. 12, 2026, at UPMC Williamsport Hospital.
Born Oct. 31, 1975, he was a son of Warren and Nancy (Sohmers) Reeder.
Dan previously worked for HWR and it was during this time that he met his future wife, the former Jeanette Vough. The two went on to get married on Nov. 14, 2015, and had three beautiful children, Elizabeth, Wesley and Danny.
Elizabeth was daddy's girl and Wesley and Danny were his little men. He was a loving husband and father who cherished the time spent with his family more than anything.
More recently, Dan worked for Lowe's as a supervisor until April of this year. Outside of work, he enjoyed building and woodworking as he had a talent for putting things together.
Surviving, in addition to his wife and children, are his father, Warren Reeder; his in-laws, Carl and Joyce Vough, whom he looked at as his own parents; a brother-in-law, James (Chasity Shoemaker) Vough; a sister-in-law, Carla (Cody) Auer; two nieces and a nephew.
Dan was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Reeder; and a brother, James Reeder.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2026, at McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water St., Hughesville, Pa., with Pastor Ron Dyer officiating.
Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14, at the funeral home.
