KLINE -- John H. Kline, Jr., 62, of Mill Hall, passed away on Friday, Oct. 16, 2026. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2026 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall. Burial will be private on Thursday at Highland Cemetery, Lock Haven.
RINKER -- Emery W. Rinker, 77, of Lock Haven, died Sept. 20, 2026. A military honor graveside service will be held on Thursday, Oct. 22, at 3:30 p.m., at the Jersey Shore Cemetery.
TIMBLIN -- Orvis R. "Roy" Timblin, 81, of Lock Haven, passed away peacefully on Oct. 17, 2026. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 23, at Rest Haven Memorial Park. A Celebration of Life will follow at Restless Oaks Restaurant, 119 Pine Mountain Road, Lock Haven.
TONER - Janice M. Toner, 87, of Monument, died Oct. 7, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 24, at 1 p.m., at Orviston Bible Church, 75 Main St., Orviston, Pa.
PETTINGILL -- Elizabeth Mae Ferrara Pettingill, 88, or Erie, Colo., died Sept. 11, 2026. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, Oct. 25, at 2:30 p.m., at the Erie Recreation Center Community Room, 450 Powers St., in Erie, Colo.
DOBERSTEIN -- Susan Jane (Hoberman) Doberstein, 78, of Lock Haven, died Aug. 29, 2026. Interment will take place at Beth Yehuda Cemetery, with an unveiling ceremony to coincide with the re-dedication of Hoberman Park.
REEDER -- Dan W. Reeder, 50, of Williamsport, died Oct. 12, 2026. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 14, at 5 p.m., at McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water St., Hughesville, Pa. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until the time of the service.
WHITEHILL -- Ward F. Whitehill, 90, of Pleasant Gap, died July 20, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be announced later in the fall.
WELSHANS -- Gertrude M. "Trudy" Welshans, 100, of Jersey Shore, died March 11, 2026. Services are being planned and will be announced once completed.
MONKS -- Elzner Claire Monks, 83, of Jersey Shore, Pa., died Jan. 30, 2026. The Celebration of Life is being postponed until the fall.
