Sheila M. Love, 79, of Lock Haven, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2026, at home surrounded by her family.
She was born May 21, 1947, in Lock Haven.
On Aug. 29, 1964, Sheila married Laverne Love, with whom she shared 62 years of marriage.
Sheila devoted her life to caring for her family. She was especially proud of her children and cherished every minute spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Over the years, Sheila owned numerous Dobermans that held a special place in her heart.
She loved all things purple.
In addition to her husband, Laverne Love, of Lock Haven, she is survived by her children, Kim Houtz, of Mill Hall, Laverne "Andy" (Julie) Love, Jr., of Mill Hall, and Jeff Love and Shannon (Danielle) Love, both of Lock Haven; a brother, Vernon Miller, Jr., of Lock Haven; sisters, Kathy (Jerry) Ryan, of Lock Haven, and Sue (John) Klingensmith, of Johnstown; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her beloved Doberman, Sophie.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Ergott, as well as her mother and step-father, Rose and Vernon Miller.
A private visitation and funeral will be held for her family. Interment will be at Swissdale Cemetery.
