Yvonne D. Rine

Yvonne D. Rine, 86, of Mill Hall, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2026, at Centre Care, Bellefonte.

Born at Teah Hospital in Lock Haven on June 28, 1940, she was a daughter of the late John A. and Mae A. (Riggle) Cebulka.

Yvonne was a 1958 graduate of Immaculate Conception High School.

On July 22, 1961, she married her best friend, Larry D. Rine. They shared 43 years of marriage before his passing in 2004.

Yvonne served as a teacher's aide. For 29 years, she made a lasting impact on both students and staff alike before her retirement from Mill Hall Elementary School in 2003.

She was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, attending Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She volunteered in various positions around the church as well as at special events. Yvonne was a member of Catholic Daughters of America.

Additionally, she was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, Red Hats Society, Senior Circle and Happy Travelers where she served as treasurer. She was a past member of both the Moose and Sons and Daughters of Italy.

Yvonne valued serving her community. As a member of the Lock Haven Hospital Auxiliary, she helped in the gift shop. She also volunteered many hours selling concessions at Millbrook Playhouse. She served as an Election Poll Worker in Mill Hall Borough.

Yvonne loved traveling. She especially enjoyed going on cruises with her husband before his passing and then with friends from Happy Travelers.

She lived for nights playing Bingo and looked forward to bus trips to the casinos.

Remaining to continue her legacy are her children, Jeffrey (April) Rine, of Bellefonte, Michele Long, of Lock Haven, and Stephen Rine, of Colorado; and her grandchildren, Tana and Kayleigh Rine and Christopher, Kelly and Sarah Long.

Also surviving are her brothers, John (Karen) Cebulka, of Castanea, and Marolous (Brenda) Cebulka, of Ohio; and twin sisters, Bonnie (Foster) Haines, of Swissdale, and Connie (Thomas) Ellis, of Texas.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, at 12:30 p.m., at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 310 W. Water St., Lock Haven. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Lock Haven, Pa.

Friends and family will be received on Saturday, Oct. 10, from 10 a.m. -12 p.m., at Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, Pa.

Memorial contributions in Yvonne's name may be made to Millbrook Playhouse, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Holy Spirit Parish through the funeral home.
