James E. Willits, 71, of Lock Haven, Pa., passed away on Nov. 1, 2026, at the Williamsport Hospital.
James was born in Williamsport, Pa., to the late William Willits, Jr. and Martha Jeralds, on May, 19, 1955. He worked as a maintenance man at Save A Lot for four years.
He is survived by his brother, Lloyd Willits; his sister, Lois Bilby; his sons, Eric Willits and James Willits; a stepson, John Demetro; a stepdaughter, Jessica Oaks; and his longtime girlfriend, Debra Wheeler. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jordan Willits, Blake Willits, Myla Willits, Dustin Willits, Nathan Oaks, Camron Oaks, Caden Demetro, Mason Demetro, Ethan Moore and Wyatt Moore.
James was preceded in death by his brothers, Danny, Richard and Glenn; and a sister, Emily Bauerlien.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, mountain rides and playing with his grandkids.
Services will be announced at a later date, and any donation can be made to the Gedon Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven, PA 17745 to help with final expenses.
