Ruby Lenore Welfling, 96, passed away peacefully at the Heartland Retirement Home in Woolrich, Pa. on May 9, 2026. Ruby, born Jan 12, 1930, was the daughter of Grover and Betty (Mercedes Goldie) Schumann. She was the wife of Stanley Edward Welfling, Sr. Ruby was predeceased by her daughters Beth, Sue and her son Stanley E. Welfling, Jr., commonly known as little Eddie (her favorite). Surviving is her sister Punk Haner; and her daughter Joan Welfling; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Richard E. Gaul, 74, of Lock Haven, Pa., passed away on July 12, 2026, at Haven Place in Lock Haven. Richard was born in Lock Haven to the late Clarence E. and Erma L. Gaul (Dugan) on March 29, 1952. He was joined in marriage to the late Marilyn J. Gaul (Robb) on July 27, 1973. Richard was a 1970 graduate of Lock Haven High School. He worked as a truck driver for years, logging over a million miles before retiring. He was a member of Garman Lutheran Church of Avis, Pa.
