Fronie I. (Mesmer) Wagner

Fronie I. (Mesmer) Wagner, 98, of Mill Hall, passed away on March 26, 2026 at Haven Place Rehabilitation and Senior Living in Lock Haven. Fronie was born on Jan. 27, 1928 in Loganton to the late Elmer C. and Lulu (Snook) Mesmer. On July 24, 1948 she married Charles C. Wagner and they spent 59 years together until his passing on May 1, 2007. In her earlier years after graduation from the former Sugar Valley High School in 1946, she went to work at Sylvania in Mill Hall and worked there until the plant closed. Mary Ruth Williams, 71, of Lock Haven, died March 5, 2026. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 11 a.m., at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall, with Rev. Joseph Orr officiating. Family and friends will be received at the funeral chapel one hour prior to the memorial service. Interment will be at Dunnstown Cemetery. Lucy A. Bloom, 79, of Jersey Shore, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Nippenose Valley Village. Born March 23, 1947, in Jersey Shore, she was a daughter to the late George A. Schurer and the former Marguerite C. Shuhler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl R. Bloom, on Oct. 28, 2022; and her son, Robert C. Bloom, on Sept. 12, 2018. Lucy was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She was a 1965 graduate of Jersey Shore High School and worked as a Librarian for the school district for many years.
