Lucy A. Bloom, 79, of Jersey Shore, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Nippenose Valley Village. Born March 23, 1947, in Jersey Shore, she was a daughter to the late George A. Schurer and the former Marguerite C. Shuhler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl R. Bloom, on Oct. 28, 2022; and her son, Robert C. Bloom, on Sept. 12, 2018. Lucy was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She was a 1965 graduate of Jersey Shore High School and worked as a Librarian for the school district for many years.
