Each Saturday, The Express community newspaper highlights people, groups and activities our readers deem worthy of applause.

A huge THANK YOU to Tami Brannan of Lock Haven, who set up a live trap at my apartment and helped me catch a stray, male cat. She baited the trap, checked the trap frequently while I was at work, transported the captured cat to Rosebird Vet in Jersey Shore and then released the cat a day later after he had some R&R after his neuter. I appreciate Tami’s help in downsizing the stray cat population in our city, and I look forward to working with her in the future to trap more cats near my apartment. Thanks Tami for stepping up and doing things like this during your own personal time! You’re a true angel!
