THANK YOU to the Susquehanna Valley Big Twins Motorcycle Club of Woolrich for their recent monetary donation to the Prayer Shawl Ministry for their needleworkers to purchase quilt batting to use for warmth in the twin sized bed quilts that the PSM makes for Sleep in Heavenly Peace. Sleep in Heavenly Peace provides free beds and bedding accessories (pillows, sheets and blankets) to children in the area who need their own bed to sleep in.

The Prayer Shawl Ministry at Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church in Mill Hall is grateful to the SVBTMC for their continued support of our mission, and we are very happy to also be partnering with Sleep in Heavenly Peace to bring warmth and comfort to children and their families through these colorful quilts we’re creating.

THANK YOU to Mike Palischak for his lecture on Jan. 28 at the Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church. In celebration of America’s 250 birthday, Mike spoke about the Declaration of Independence and the forefathers who signed it.

Many came to hear Mike’s amazing lecture, which lasted about 90 minutes thanks to interested folks who asked questions and were eager for his insight and responses.
