Each Saturday, The Express community newspaper highlights people, groups and activities our readers deem worthy of applause.

Liz, Marg and I were pleasantly surprised when we visited The Second Cup on Friday, Feb. 6. A kind gentleman there treated us all to a free lunch. When we asked his name, he simply replied, “I’m your Guardian Angel.”

Although we thanked him there, we wanted to give this man a big THANK YOU and let him know again that we really appreciated his sweet gesture.

THANK YOU to the Susquehanna Valley Big Twins Motorcycle Club for the gas card that was provided to us to help with our gas expenses for medical check-ups at John Hopkins in Baltimore, Md. Along with the medical check-ups every 10 days, Mike had to be hospitalized for several days in early February, so there were added trips to Baltimore.

We really appreciate the kindness that all of the members at the SVBT Motorcycle Club have shown our family.
